Waleed Al-Oboudi MOT, OTR Originator of the Neuro-IFRAH® Approach
Background:
For decades students in NEURO-IFRAH courses have been exposed to video documentation of analysis of movement in the norm that has been conducted consistently over decades. Thousands of individuals have been observed by countless observers documenting movement in the norm on video. The evidence documented on video is overwhelming and shows that capturing movement in the norm without the individuals observed know that they are being video tapes is the most accurate representation of whatever is being observed as the NORM . This evidence captured in NEURO-IFRAH projects for over decades is in high contrast to the narrow conditions of observation reported by observing individuals in a laboratory where variables are controlled and findings are naturally narrow in scope and do not represent the vast variations seen in the norm. The findings through NEURO-IFRAH projects over the decades have been extremely helpful to therapists taking NEURO-IFRAH COURSES and learning how to restore the components of movement and otherwise needed to return the patients to their lives with more normal movement and function. Patients treated in NEURO-IFRAH Clinics report the superior and unmatched rehabilitation programs in contrast to previous programs.
Course Titles:
A. Movement Adaptation and the Environment
B. Advanced Hand function / Fine Motor Control
Course and project descriptions:
A. This opportunity is for advance NEURO-IFRAH Trained ®Therapists and NEURO-IFRAH CLINICAL CERTIFIED™ Therapists . Participants will have an opportunity to accompany the originator of the approach and ADVANCE CLINICAL TRAINED CLINIC OWNERS on one week project of video documentation of movement in the norm and observation of the program facilitating patients adaptation to various conditions of observation. This is an eye opening experience that has been conducted numerous times in the past two decades . Participants get to see first hand the wide divide between actual movement in the norm with advanced meaningful analysis in stark contrast to narrow conditions of observations and the limitations and misconceptions produced in controlled labs. Neuro-IFRAH is a whole person individualized approach rooted in restoration and is widely known to be self evident ,superior and unmatched and thus requires higher skilled therapists who have the knowledge and depth in handling. This is a huge contrast to methods and fixed cookie cutter strategies where results are on paper and patients seem to report and demonstrate high rates of compensatory strategies and a marked increase in abnormal muscle activity in the form of hypertonicity throughout the more effected upper extremity notably the hand and in the more effected lower extremity notably the foot. In both cases experience shows that these conditions requiring a lot of undoing and massively decrease potential for recovery complicating what could have been easily addressed using other strategies . The NEURO-IFRAH Approach is widely known to be a whole person approach that has unmatched strategies that are self evident for decades of practice. THIS OPPORTUNITY TO ACCOMPANY THE ORIGINATOR OF THE APPROACH AND THE ESTEEM ADVANCED INSTRUCTORS ON THE UPCOMING 2025 ITALY PROJECT OF MOVEMENT ADAPTATION AND THE ENVIRONMENT IS A UNIQUE ADVANCED OPPORTUNITY FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT .
